Tonight’s Music Alive is a recital from New Zealand soprano Aivale Cole and Sharolyn Kimmorley recorded in Wellington’s St Andrews on the Terrace. Included in the programme is Schumann’s Frauenliebe und-leben and songs by Tosti, Duparc and J Carter.
Winner of the 2009 Lexus Song Quest, the New Zealand soprano now lives in London. She graduated from the Australian Opera Studio with Honours, and was awarded the Dux Prize 2005. Previously she completed a Bachelor in Performance Art degree at The National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art (NASDA) in Christchurch and a Diploma in Performance Art (Opera) at the University of Auckland.
