Wallace International Piano Festival 2018 - Lixin Zhang

Lixin Zhang is just 17 years old and he’s a student in the Specialist Music Programme at Burnside High School in Christchurch.
In 2016 he was the winner at the Wallace National Junior Piano Competition and the following year he took out first prize at the Wallace National Piano Competition itself. He’s a prodigy of the piano obviously, showing remarkable promise. Earlier this year he released a CD with Rattle Records.
