We salute one of the great composers of the 20th century, Bernd Alois Zimmermann – and get an idea of where he came from and where he led to: the concert includes pieces by a composer that Zimmermann was greatly inspired by, Richard Wagner, and a world premiere by his erstwhile student, York Höller. Hang on for an interesting ride.
