Liebestraum (Love-Dream) No 3 started life as a song for voice and piano, in which Liszt set the words of Ferdinand Freiligrath.

The poem talks of the virtues of unconditional love.

Liszt later transformed it into one of his most loved piano fantasies. This organ transcription was created by New Zealand organist Nigel Potts.

Recorded in Auckland Town Hall, 19 August 2018
Producer, Engineer: Tim Dodd
