Dedicated to Jack Body, Maju Terus integrates the traditional gamelan work Wilujeng. The chorus part is built on echoed phrases of the traditional song, creating a wash of sound. The work was commissioned for the 1987 Sonic Circus and is performed by the Victoria University of Wellington Choir, Orchestra and Gamelan Group, conducted by Peter Walls.
