New Zealand tenor Simon O’Neill gets his wish: John Adams' ground breaking opera Nixon in China performed by New Zealand Opera at Auckland Arts Festival. Simon talks about performing Chairman Mao with some of the leading singers he worked with in San Francisco in 2012. Nixon in China is being directed by Sara Brodie with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra playing John Adams' impressive score.

Gerry Paul and Hannah Darroch talk about the new musical initiative Classical Sessions: moving classical music out of the Concert Hall and into Third Eye. The Wellington venue will host the new monthly music series including a range of classically trained musicians from March 2nd with support from Chamber Music New Zealand .
