Director Robert Gordon’s film Best of Enemies has been described as "a film both righties and lefties can love".
After Robert Gordon saw footage of the 1968 series of debates between patrician writer and intellectual Gore Vidal and conservative author and commentator William F Buckley, he contacted producer, director and writer Morgan Neville to collaborate on the documentary The Best of Enemies.
Gordon tells Eva about the process, ahead of its New Zealand International Film Festival screenings.
