Chamber Music New Zealand is offering an Audio Description and a Touch Tour for visually impaired concert goers during the April tour by Les Talens Lyriques. Sue Jane explains how the narration service will describe what a sighted person takes for granted. A similar experience was offered last year before the Turnovsky Jubilee Ensemble concert at the Auckland Town Hall with players from Sistema Aotearoa giving their instruments to non-sighted audience members to touch.
