How to listen to great orchestral music

Does the idea of trying to understand classical music send your head in a spin? Or do you think your listening skills could need sharpening? The famed Juilliard School and Berlin Philharmonic are offering an online course on how to listen to great music for orchestra. The goal is to make classical music more accessible and to grow the understanding of orchestra music. Dr Michael Griffel, the head of the Juilliard’s music history department explains more.
