The music from the award winning film Titanic is coming to life in Auckland next year. Conductor Neil Thomson along with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra and North Shore Children’s Choir is bringing Titanic Live to the Civic Theatre in January. 2018 marks 20 years the film’s initial release. Thomson explains why the score is so powerful and how performing it live with the film is attracting a new audience to orchestral performance.
