Tamara’s well-known for her commitment to Australian composers – she’s recorded the complete piano music of Peter Sculthorpe, and frequently collaborates with Elena Kats-Chernin, but she’s by no means locked into the Australian Music box – her repertoire’s grounded in Bach and Beethoven, as well as interesting and unknown repertoire by composers ranging from Satie to Pärt.

She spoke to David Morriss about her early beginnings and coming for another visit to New Zealand.
