Reports from American Samoa say the founder of the Voice of Christ Full Gospel Church has died at the LBJ hospital.
The Reverend Elder Taafulisia Tilo died at the age of 69 on Sunday morning.
He founded the church in San Francisco in 1967 and today it has 30 congregations from the US mainland to Australia.
The Reverend Tilo is survived by his wife and seven children.
His funeral will be held on Friday.
