The official results from the Vanuatu national elections on May 2nd have again been delayed and will now not be released before Monday evening.
The results of the official count by the Electoral Commission were initially due to be made public on Wednesday.
Meanwhile the expectation in Vanuatu is that the Vanuaaku Pati/Union of Moderate Parties coalition will remain in power with an increased majority.
The coalition partners issued a statement earlier this week that they were working on a new agreement.
The coalition is claiming at least 30 of the 52 seats in the Parliament.
