The Fiji's Aviation Workers Association has threatened full strike action against Air Pacific

The Fiji Aviation Workers Association has threatened to take full strike action against the national airline, Air Pacific, unless issues in their dispute are resolved soon.

The union began partial industrial action against the airline on Friday night consisting of an overtime ban, work to rule, go slow, withdrawal of good will and non co-operation.

The FAWA general secretary, Attar Singh, says the partial action is not having the effect it was intended to, which was to get Air Pacific to address the dispute.

Mr Singh says his members are becoming frustrated as the dispute is prolonged and they are agitating for harsher action against Air Pacific.

He says their next action will depend entirely on how Air Pacific responds.
