A whole village has been burnt to ashes after a family feud in the Woitape area of Papua New Guinea's Central Province.

The Post Courier newspaper says the fire at Omboli village destroyed all 19 houses and left 70 people homeless.

Nearly all the villagers were away from their homes when the fire started and were unable to save valuables from their houses.
