Samoa's deputy prime minister released from hospital in Auckland

Saomoa's deputy prime minister, Misa Telefoni, is reported to have been released from Auckland hospital after a leg operation.

The minister is understood to have injured his leg when he slipped in an Auckland bookstore.

Misa Telefoni was in New Zealand enroute to Fiji to attend a meeting of Pacific Islands Forum finance ministers.

He is said to be recovering and in good spirits.
