The Samoa Police Department has established a new division to help the public reduce crime in their neighborhood....called the Crime Prevention Unit.
The Police Commssioner, Asi Blakelock, said that the new unit will be able to provide a new service to the community through the provision of crime prevention information and security assessments.
Twenty officers are now going through special training in personal safety, security and victim support.
