ADB board members take a look at the central Pacific

Seven members of the Asian Development Bank's board are mid way through a visit to four central Pacific nations.

The team from the Manila based bank arrived in Majuro, the capital of the Marshall Islands on Wednesday for a four day visit that also includes stops in Tuvalu, Kiribati, and the Federated States of Micronesia.

In the Marshalls they have met with President Kessai Note and are holding consultations with other senior government officials in Majuro and visiting ADB sponsored projects.

The seven members are part of the board that approves loans, technical assistance and policies related to its 61 member nations.
