Three people are now facing murder charges in Solomon Islands in connection with the killing of former police commissioner Sir Frederick Soaki two months ago on Malaita.
Sir Frederick had been in Auki to begin the process of demobilizing special constables from the police service.
Last month a regular police sergeant Edmund Sae was charged over the assassination.
Now Police say another regular officer and a special constable have been charged.
They are due in court for a preliminary hearing this Thursday.
