A 60-year-old Australian missionary has been attacked and beheaded in Malaita province in Solomon Islands.
The man was killed while working alone at a building site at the Seventh Day Adventist hospital in Atoifi.
The police suspect a dispute over traditional land may be behnd the attack.
Mary Louise O'Callaghan from the Australian newspaper says there are no leads so far:
"'It appears, according to the police that there were no witnesses. The gentleman himself was involved in digging foundations for the shop doing a bit of extra work on the Sunday, so it appears unfortunately, it might be quite difficult to find out who is responsible."
