In Pago Pago, Hawaiian Airlines will resume air services between Honolulu and American Samoa today following the reopening of the international airport.

Territorial governor Togiola Tulafono said Hawaiian's president and chief operating officer, Mark Dunkerley told him the Honolulu based carrier will resume flights three times a week.

Governor Togiola said Hawaiian airlines would add extra flights to accomodate the backlog of passengers that have been left stranded in both Hawaii and American Samoa since the airline suspended air services to Pago Pago in June.
