Relatives appeal for the release of a family allegedly being held by Solomons Special Constables

Special Constables recurited as part of Solomon Island police operations in South Guadalcanal have been accused of holding a woman and her two children captive.

A relative of the woman says she is being held because her husband is a loyal supporter of the notorious rebel leader, Harold Keke.

The family is appealing for the safe release of the three hostages.
