Hawaiian Airlines has cancelled plans to resume flights between Honolulu and Pago Pago on Sunday after being informed that the main runway at Pago Pago is still closed.
Two US Federal Aviation Administration officials who arrived in American Samoa on Thursday have still not completed their inspection of repairs to the runway.
A spokesman for the airline says a flight on Monday depends on the outcome of a completed inspection.
