Royal Tongan Airlines has announced it will provide Sunday flights connecting New Zealand with Rarotonga in the Cook Islands.
The airline already links Tonga with Auckland and Sydney and in addition has a domestic network, encompassing a number of the kingdom's islands.
The new service will depart Auckland on Sunday morning before crossing the dateline to arrive in Rarotonga at 2.20 pm on Saturday.
The return service leaves Rarotonga on Saturday afternoon before arriving in Auckland on Sunday evening.
