A female officer is among the 15-member Samoan police contingent to be sent to Solomon Islands next week.
Gloria Talosaga was quoted in the Le Samoa newspaper as saying she's scared of the mission, but has taken an oath to serve her country.
The Samoan police have been in training for the mission for more than a month.
