Police in Fiji are waiting for the results of forensic tests before any further developments can take place over the murders of four Chinese businessmen and a Fijian security guard.

The four Chinese were killed in an execution-style killings in August.

The police had said earlier that the motive for the attacks appeared to be a shark's fin business deal that went sour.

Here's the police spokesperson, Mesake Koroi:

"The latest I was told while we have our suspects we have sent a number of evidence for forensic testing in Australia ...these have yet to arrive...the results of these tests have yet to be received and we are hoping that once these test results arrive something more positive will come out"
