Two Fiji soldiers sent home from East Timor

Two Fijian soldiers serving in East Timor have been sent home for allegedly breaching disciplinary procedures.

They are being held in custody at the Nabua army camp.

A disciplinary committee will sit this week to decide what action to take against the two servicemen.

The incident follows the enforced return of three soldiers found drunk on duty while working in Iraq for a British security firm, Global Risk Strategies.

They were found in breach of contract by the company and their employment terminated.
