SamoaTel chief suspended pending investigation into alleged use of unauthorised credit card

The chief of SamoaTel, the country's sole landline telephone company, has been suspended, pending the results of an investigation into the alleged use of an unauthorised credit card.

The Minister of SamoaTel, Palusalue Fa'apo the second, says no record has been found that the company's board approved the credit card.

Mark Yeoman was to reply to allegations by today, and mad no public comment on his suspension.
