An Australian pilot has been shot dead during a hold up in Papua New Guinea's highlands province.
Captain Alan Mourilyan was held-up after using an automatic money machine at Mount Hagen.
He had just flown in from Cairns.
Police in Mount Hagen say they have arrested a man in connection with the killing.
Captain Mourilyan was employed by Airlines PNG and normally flew planes contracted to the Porgera Joint Mining Venture.
