Vanuatu's minister of internal affairs, George Wells, has warned that the ingredients of conflict are already present in the country and everyone will have to work together to avoid igniting it.
As a former commando who served in the French Army in Europe for more than ten years, Mr Wells said it would only need one or two issues to be ignited and the situation could explode into conflict.
Mr Wells made his comments while closing a national security workshop held in Port Vila.
