In Solomon Islands, the former Supreme Commander of the Isatabu Freedom Movement of Guadalcanal has been committed to stand trial in the High Court.
The Chief Magistrate, David Chapman, has ruled that Andrew Te'e will face three charges of murder, all of which he denies.
Mr Chapman said in his ruling that he is satisfied there is sufficient evidence to commit Te'e to the High Court
Te'e's committal follows recent Magistrate's Court decisions to commit his former comrades, Harold Keke and Joseph Sangu, and some of their followers to stand trial in the High Court.
The Chief Magistrate did not set a date for Te'e's trial.
