A Superior Court of Guam judge has dismissed a case against former Governor Carl Gutierrez and three others because sufficient evidence was not presented to the Grand Jury.
The Pacific Daily News reports the dismissal is the latest development in the case involving Gutierrez, and three former Department heads, Thelma Ann Perez, Clifford Guzman and Joseph Cruz.
The Attorney-General, Douglas Moylan, says his office is reviewing the decision and plans to continue pursuing the case.
The case involves the alleged use of government money for private streetlights.
Meanwhile the jury will be hearing a separate case involving the alleged use of government funds to upgrade the former governor's ranch.
