Forty-four people were injured yesterday in the third day of a tribal fight in Indonesia's Papua province.
About 3-thousand people from the Nguda and Damal tribes fought a pitched battle with spears and arrows outside the southern town of Timika early on Monday morning
Hundreds of police managed to separate the tribes after firing warning shots over the crowd.
Two people have died and eighty-eight have been wounded since the fighting began on Saturday.
Police later met with tribal leaders to try and end the violence, but neither side has ruled out further conflict.
The fighting was sparked by a family feud.
