Fiji's 83-year old president, Ratu Josefa Iloilo, has been admitted to the Suva Private Hospital.
The secretary to his office, Paula Kunabuli, is quoted as saying President Iloilo has been told to rest in hospital by his doctors.
President Iloilo was admitted on Tuesday night and is expected to be discharged tomorrow.
Meanwhile, his deputy, Vice President Seniloli, is on trial for treason in the Suva High Court.
