Fiji's national airline, Air Pacific, in line with other carriers around the world, will introduce a fuel surcharge on fares from next Monday August the 30.
Air Pacific says world oil prices have gone up 60% since it operations budget was drawn up at the beginning of the year.
The surcharge of 28-Fiji dollars or 16-American dollars will apply on all routes.
The airline says the fuel surcharge could go up or down with fuel prices, or be scrapped altogether if the price normalises.
