American Samoa Fono passes 268 milllion dollar budget for 2005

The American Samoa Government 268 million US dollar budget for 2005 has been approved by the Fono without any amendments.

The budget, which is fifteen point four percent higher than the current fiscal year, now goes to Governor Togiola Tulafono for approval and to be signed into law by October 1st, the start of the new fiscal year.

The bulk of the money comes from US Government grants.
