Solomon Islands will hold two parliamentary by-elections on December the 1st.
Voters in North Malaita constituency will elect a replacement for the jailed former parlimentarian Daniel Fa'afanua while those in Ulawa-Ugi will vote in a new MP to replace former Minister Nathaniel Waena who is now Governor-General.
The Electoral Office says Government House will announce election formalities next week.
Meanwhile partners in the ruling national coalition government will field candidates as a group.
