In American Samoa, Blue Sky Communications has begun construction of a new Operations centre and Tower.

The US$1.5 million facility will house the switching and technical equipment for Blue Sky's wireless Network, satellite equipment, internet technology and billing computers.

The building was designed by well known architect Joe Weileman and will be constructed by Paramount Builders.

Financing will be provided by Bank of Hawaii.
