The Solomon Islands Prime Minister, Sir Allan Kemakeza, says a report on the Regional Assistance Mission's first year is overwhelmingly in support of its presence in the country.
The report was compiled for the government by an intervention task force.
He told the Solomon Islands Broadcasting Corporation that the support for RAMSI reflects the good work that it's done since it arrived in the country in 2003.
Sir Allen says Australia and New Zealand have indicated that they will continue their funding of the regional intervention force.
He says the report will go before cabinet this week, before being tabled in parliament at the next sitting.
