A cyclone which has developed in the ocean off French Polynesia over Christmas is now forecast to pass by the territory's southernmost island of Rapa.
Cyclone Judy is only expected to come within 250-300 kilometres of the island and is well to the south of the majority of French Polynesia.
If the cyclone curves to the south south east it could curve closer to Rapa
