Togiola who is chairman of the Congregational Christian Church of American Samoa called on all churches to take up special collections for the cause.

He also urged the government and the private sector workforce to do the same.

The main fundraiser is a 10-hour radiothon and telethon tomorrow but donations will be collected for the next two weeks.
