American Samoa fears flash floods

Heavy rain in American Samoa has prompted warnings for motorists to be ready for flash flooding on the main island of Tutuila.

The Weather Service issued the warning this morning saying that the ground was saturated and flash flooding is likely.

It also warned that the excess run off could cause rock and mud slides.

Reports in Pago Pago say there is some flooding, and a lot of debris on the roads.
