Fiji's two largest commercial banks, ANZ and WESTPAC, have announced record profits.
ANZ has announced an after tax profit of 14-point-2 million US dollars for the financial year ending on September 30th last year.
WESTPAC has announced an after-tax profit of 15-point-6 million US dollars for the same 12 months.
Both banks say their profitability increased over the 2003 financial year as their business continued to grow.
