RNZAF Orion to resume search for fishermen north of Samoa

A New Zealand air force Orion will today resume the search for two fishermen whose boat was sunk by Cyclone Olaf north of Samoa on Wednesday.

Four crew members were picked up on Thursday night in seas off the coast however none have been able to tell rescuers what happened to the two men still missing.

A fishing boat that was out of contact for two days was located yesterday with all crew reported to be safe and well.

The Orion will take off again at midday on Saturday, New Zealand time, to search for the two men still missing.
