Two days of heavy rain in Fiji's central division have left trail of destruction with numerous landslides, homes destroyed, roads blocked and one person dead.
A 6-year old boy was drowned while trying to swim across a flooded creek at a village in Tailevu.
About 20 families are living in makeshift shelters after their homes in the Baulevu area north of Nausori were destroyed in landslides.
Other families all over the central Division are living in fear of landslides as very heavy rain continued overnight with Tamavua recording 216 mm in a 24-hour period.

Sections of some roads have been destroyed in landslides while others have been blocked by falling trees.
There's been flash flooding in some areas and electric power has been cut off because lines are down.
Some domestic flights have been cancelled.
The Nadi Weather Centre has warned that a flash flood warning remains in force for the Central and Eastern divisions of Fiji as more rain is expected today.
