Solomon Islands trial of Jimmy Rasta adjourned

The trial in Solomon Islands of three high profile defendants involved in a murder case has been adjourned until Wednesday.

A former militant of the Malaita Eagle Force, Jimmy 'Rasta' Lusibaea, has been charged with assault in connection with the alleged killing of a policeman

Two others, Patterson Saeni and Eddy Iro'ota, are charged with murder.

The case is being heard by justice Edwin Goldsbrough, one of two external judges brought in to hear high profile cases linked to the ethnic unrest.
