Niue fish processing operations delayed again until week's end

A fish processing operation in Niue, due to begin today, has been further delayed.

The plant's manger, Eddie Watts, says supplies for the processing plant are still being shipped in from overseas.

The plant was officially launched last October but no fish has, as yet, been processed, and Mr Watts says delays in getting supplies to Niue is the cause of repeated postponements to the start of operations.

Mr Watts says he hopes the plant will be up and running by the end of the week.
