The American fast food restaurant ,Checkers, will open a franchise in American Samoa.
Checkers offers servings of burgers and fries via a drive through operation.
Local company TG Corporation is now obtaining the necessary permits to build the restaurant.
Checkers will join other fast food chains already in the territory, such as McDonald's, KFC and Pizza Hut.
