Guam police officer faces drugs charges

A Guam police officer Jason Coburian Ortiola is facing criminal charges for the alleged sale of drugs.

Mr Otiola is to face a grand jury after being accused of sellingmethamphetamine hydrochloride or ice.

It is understood he was in his police uniform when the alleged offence occurred.

Mr Otiora, who had been in the Guam force for a year, will next appear in the court on August 3rd.

In the meantime he is on administrative leave on pay.
