Reports say the Indonesian army has attacked villagers in the central highlands of the province of Papua.
The Suva-based Pacific Concerns Resource Centre says the Indonesian army is forcing people to flee their villages.
On July 17th, the PCRC alleges 10 army patrol members entered the village of Moragame near Wamena, and shot and wounded two men, Yiman Wenda and Abai Wenda.
On July 14th, the group claims a resident of nearby Ndome village, Petto Wenda, was slashed and set alight.
The Indonesian military wasn't immediately available to respond to the claims.
